We inaugurate the Mosaic Experience collection with The Eternal Gaze — a fragment of antiquity reimagined through marble and time.

Inspired by an ancient Roman portrait, this mosaic captures a gaze suspended between presence and distance. A timeless expression reconstructed tessera by tessera, allowing you to experience the depth and discipline of traditional mosaic in a contemporary, guided format.

Measuring 59 × 59 cm, the piece is conceived to evoke the presence of an authentic archaeological fragment. It is designed to be installed by you on a professional ultra-light honeycomb panel, following my guidance and instructions.

Certain areas are intentionally left incomplete, echoing the original artwork and reinforcing its sculptural, time-worn character.

No frame is required.
The mosaic is intended to exist as a raw, museum-like surface.

A Refined and Simplified Technique

The Eternal Gaze introduces a newly developed working method that elevates the experience while maintaining structural integrity.

During the composition phase, you will not handle complex cement-based adhesives that are difficult to manage during working hours.
This allows for a cleaner, more controlled, and more meditative process.

The marble format has been carefully selected to be inclusive: even those with limited hand strength can comfortably cut and shape each tessera using professional nippers.

Technically advanced in nature, the project becomes accessible at an intermediate level through structured, step-by-step guidance.
